ABOUT ME

I’ve been a Graphic designer for four years, during this journey I have learned and am still learning a lot of valuable lessons regarding the way I see art, seeing it through the lens of travel to four different continents. Throughout this time I've achieved results requiring strong leadership skills, as well as collaboration through coordination with great teammates.

We live in a time during which there is constant change that comes with developing social media; it requires staying on top of what's going on in the technology world; it's straining, but always fun. "Simplicity is about subtracting the obvious and adding the meaningful.”

MY WORK

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

“So that is the design process or the creative process. Start with a problem, forget the problem, the problem reveals itself or the solution reveals itself and then you reevaulate it. This is what you are doing all the time. ”  ― Paul Rand

HALL OF FAME //
LATEST
PROJECT

This piece was produced for a project I was working on during the 2014 State and Congressional elections. It was designed for an infographic, although finally the infographic was never used. It was optimized to recycle a design I had produced recently. In the new design, I manipulated some of the facial features, making new bodies for the heads to give a human illustration effect. This concept originated out of something I saw at one of the Spanish Embassy exhibits a couple of years ago called “Cotidiano | Everyday Superheroes”. It was a beautiful exhibit on real time photography, speaking to everyday people and how they affect our lives. A wonderful example of Everyday Superheroes!
